Titus Transportation is a privately held, financially conservative company that is intentionally low-profile to the public and high-value to our core customers.  Our motto when entrusted with our customers’ freight is: “Service, Savings, Security & of course Safety.”  We go back nearly a quarter century in dry van and temperature controlled freight; dedicated and truckload.  We started in 1986 with Coors (refrigerated & dry) and Paccar (largest plant in the US based in Denton), both demanding Fortune 500 corporations.  Because of our high service standards, continuous improvement approach and flexibility to get the job done and focus on every load every day, we have served continuously and have grown with both of these customers. Today we are Coors’ largest carrier on the East Coast and Paccar’s second largest nationally.  We are the only transportation company to be designated a preferred supplier with Paccar because of our long-standing, day-to-day strong service with large volumes and willingness/ability to handle specialty needs whenever they arise.  Over the years we have grown with blue-chip customers, primarily in the food industry into a $100 million/year, 48 state carrier.  Today Kroger considers us one of their top dedicated, DC-to-retail carriers (dry, frozen, refrigerated & combo).  We also serve food retailers/distributors Wal-Mart, Supervalu, Food Lion and Sysco.  We are a truckload carrier for manufacturers like Cargill, Nestles and many others.  We have developed a very strong expertise at transitioning & starting up operations in the grocery retail supply chain.  We have especially strong, practical operational experience, handling the day-to-day working at customers’ docks and their customers’ docks and handling holiday and emergency weather surges and special needs with a  wide variety of commodities.
